Wedge Island Separatist Group launches attack on Wuhu Island

IN the early hours of this morning, reports came in of a number of explosions surrounding Wuhu Town Port. Soon after, civilian footage began to circulate of missiles seemingly being launched from Wedge Island and landing in Wuhu Town.
The Wuhu Defense Force confirmed today at 13:00ChST that the attack was launched by the Toadstool-supported "Friends of Wedge" separatist paramilitary group. President Edgeworth has described the attack as "a cowardly, desparate attempt to strike fear into the innocent people of Wuhu Island" and stressed that violence from groups in Wedge Island, and foreign forces which may seek to bolster the strength of these groups, "will be met with fury matched by the swords of a thousand-men".
"Friends of Wedge" are yet to speak regarding todays events, and have been approached for comment.
