Wuhu Island Travel Safety Notice - 4/8/22

The Wuhu Island Public Foreign Development Office (WIPFD) advises against all travel to the whole of the Mushroom Kingdom due to the lack of available flight and travel options to return to Wuhu, and the increased volatility in the Mushroom Kingdom's economy.

Over the course of the past few months the Mushroom Kingdom have shown increased aggression towards Wuhu Island and it's close allies. The Toadstool Regime has shown a complete disregard for the safety, rights and security of the people of numerous unprovoked states. Foreign relations have continued to worsen and the Mushroom Kingdom has shown on several occasions that they refuse to cooperate with attempts at appeasement. It is heavily advised that any travel to any Mushroom Kingdom Territory that is not absolutely necessary is postponed or cancelled.

There have been multiple reports of intensive security checks on foreign nationals at internal and national border crossings upon entry/exit and travel between regions. Travellers may be subject to the detailed questioning, often regarding personal information, and requests to switch on electronic devises for content checking. There are also reports of increased police presence and ID checks. You should keep your passport with you at all times.
